while i was designing the sections for this webpage, i was urged to skip some kind of "self-reflective" section for the purpose of staying minimal. only to realize that minimalistic art isn't my preferred form of artistic expression. i saw other photographers and their approaches and took it as law, or the standard. but why? why differentiate your creativity but conform to someone else's minimalism?
